Bagel Making
To make a bagel yeast dough is shaped into circular rings and then allowed to rise. It is then briefly tossed into vigorously boiling water for a few seconds. Then, with a bit of sugar water brushed on to provide gloss, it is baked to a beautiful golden brown, allowing the prior boiling to create a chewy texture. It looks great and tastes even better.
