A Little Something About Bagel-Go-Round
Bagel–Go–Round is truly a family owned and operated bagel and deli restaurant. It was started in 1989 in Franklin Square, New York. For years prior to that, the family talked and dreamed about one day opening a family business. Well, after years of hard work and saving every nickel and dime, our dream finally came true. Bagel–Go–Round opened. We decided on bagels because of the great interest that was being generated toward this product. It was no longer just an ethnic food. The bagel was fast becoming what pizza was 35 years ago, a new and exciting wholesome food everyone can enjoy.
After trying numerous combinations, the family came up with an original recipe that added a whole new taste to the bagel. This secret family recipe is still being used today, and the tremendous success we are enjoying proves our recipe was correct.
Our family takes great pride in all our original recipes. Cream cheeses, salads, etc…are made pure and fresh daily with a labor of love that did not come easy. In the beginning, we worked day and night to find the right ingredients for the right taste. We can remember each family member looking at one another when tasting a new recipe for the first time. “Do you like it? Shake you head, yes or no.” And, believe us when we tell you, there were many “no’s” before any “yes” sign was given. And each time we got a “yes” we broke out in applause.
Knowing how much pride and work went into making Bagel–Go–Round a success makes us want to try even harder to keep it that way. We never want to spoil our dream come true. So we pledge here and now that our high quality food, and friendly service, will always be there, or we will give you your money back. And we sincerely mean it.
